After three successful years providing audio-visual services to the corporate meeting industry, Digital Blue Global has expanded its portfolio to become an integrated event production company. New offerings include traditional corporate production services, as well as innovative, client-driven specialties such as social networking and media management, printing services, file management and ROI measurement systems.
“Our clients wanted to work with us on more than just AV,” said Sonny Dyon, president of client relations and business development. “We always consider ourselves an extension of their team, so it seems completely natural to move into the production space doing more strategic and creative work.”
The company will launch its new brand and services at the Experiential Marketing Summit next week in Chicago. The conference, taking place May 14-16, features presenters and workshops focused on building unique customer experiences.

Digital Blue Global is pleased to announce several new changes to their organization. Industry veteran Troy A. Askew joined the team in February to lead client development for corporate productions. With more than 15 years experience producing corporate events, Troy is one of the most sought-after executive producers in the industry.
His expertise spans every aspect of the event world, including budget management, technical staffing, creative concepts and production design. “In addition to his experience producing global programs, Troy is a perfect fit for Digital Blue’s culture and mission,” said Sonny Dyon, president of client relations and business development. “He has the knowledge and professionalism necessary to be an effective leader and team member.”
Digital Blue has also added Beth Penland as a marketing resource for the company and its clients. Beth brings more 15 years of experience in a variety of industries including major market radio, corporate travel management, education and health care. “Beth understands our market completely – when we met her she was one of our clients,” said Klinton Kraft, president of corporate development. “She knows how to build a market strategy and leverage the right tactics to make an impact. From event marketing to social networks, we’re excited to leverage the expertise she brings to our team. |
Digital Blue Global launched a new website today featuring new service offerings and a full portfolio of the company’s production work. In addition, the leadership and employees of Digital Blue are launching a blog that focuses on the industry professionals that live “Behind the Scenes” of corporate meetings and events.
“At every show, there is a group of individuals that must work together as a well-oiled machine as soon as they show up to the venue,” said Sonny Dyon, president of client relations and business development. “Their work begins months before they actually have a chance to see each other or even meet.
“We are building an online community for all of the people who work behind the scenes at big events. The blog will be a space to network and share experiences with clients, colleagues and competitors.” The Digital Blue team will kick off the blog live from the Experiential Marketing Summit on May 14, 2007, an event they are sponsoring in Chicago.
